Vintage silver reed 100 typewriter with dutch accent keyboard
1970s’ portable typewriter
This smart grey metal typewriter was made in Japan in the 1970s’ by Silver Seiko Ltd for the Dutch market.
It all appears to be in good working order and has had a new black ribbon fitted.
It types nicely (see photos) and has a lovely typeface, different to the standard Silver Reed typeface. It has a QWERTY keyboard with the addition of some Dutch language accents.
The grey paintwork is in nice condition, one little chip on the left hand side but nothing that detracts and the dark grey keys are a nice feature.
The hard plastic black carry case is in sturdy condition, with minimum wear.
Replacement ribbons are available online but do note that the ribbon has to be wound manually onto the spools with it being a non UK standard machine, however this is not difficult to do.
Measurements: 30.5cm deep, 29cm wide, 9cm tall.
